Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) Industrial Hygiene Resources provides professional, thorough, and competitive service to financial institutions, business owners, property developers, and government agencies in the performance of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA). Our staff of environmental, health, and safety professionals routinely search for and evaluate the significance of the presence of petroleum products (leaking underground storage tanks, LUSTs), and perchloroethylene (PERC) contamination as related to dry cleaning establishments. Additionally, we routinely evaluate the presence of asbestos, chemicals, including polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and other contamination of soils on a property. Any of these categories of potential contamination can adversely affect the value of property relative to a re-financing or transfer of ownership. Our firm will document the presence of these pollutants and guide the client as to the significance of them, as well as the steps for remediation (clean-up) if appropriate. IHR Environmental Site Assessments are compliant with standards and practices of the new EPA federal rule for environmental due diligence, termed All Appropriate Inquiries (2006; AAI).
