Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)

New limits for miner exposure to Diesel Particulate matter (DPM) take effect on May 20, 2008 with an exposure limit of 160TC ug/m3.  Mine workers can be exposed to diesel exhaust (DPM & NO2) in the mine, maintenance shops, or while operating haulage equipment.  IHR's experienced staff will tell you where you stand with DPM and NO2 exposures and confirm compliance with MSHA Health Standards.  We are:

bullet Committed to the success of your mining operation
