Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂)

New limits for miner exposure to Diesel Particulate matter (DPM) take effect on May 20, 2008 with an exposure limit of 160_TC ug/m³.  Mine workers can be exposed to diesel exhaust (DPM & NO₂) in the mine, maintenance shops, or while operating haulage equipment.  IHR's experienced staff will tell you where you stand with DPM and NO₂ exposures and confirm compliance with MSHA Health Standards.  We are:
