This position may require as much as 25% out of town travel (Idaho and neighboring states) and possibly on short notice to respond to client requirements. Generally day shift but evening, night and weekend work may be required. Long days may be required to mirror client’s work schedules.
The candidate will be responsible for the following job duties:
Training, or course work in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA-related), Engineering, Chemistry, Physics Geology or Biology a plus. Relevant professional experience and certifications will be considered.
Current certifications to include: AHERA Contractor/Supervisor, AHERA Inspector, EPA Lead-based paint Inspector/Risk assessor, OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry, OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER, etc.
Working knowledge of buildings, construction, including conducting workplace health and safety investigations for physical and chemical hazards.
